For starters, Torch says at the beginning of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , basically “this is stupid so let’s give it a try” and he’s right, it makes basically no sense. Still, it’s funny. Computers have advanced exponentially in the last 30 years, while, for lots of reasons, cars have not. Sure, my 2012 Volvo is probably faster than a 1982 Ferarri, but not 10,000 or 10,000,000 times faster.
But the graphic at the end, extrapolating computer advancement to cars, gave me a Sensible Chuckle (tm). A modern car compared to a 1982 model would have some 66 0 million horsepower, 0-60 times @ .007 seconds, and get 3.7 million MPG. I like silly comparisons, because why not?
I mean, just think of the burnouts.
